| Maintenance Notes |
Lavender have woodier stems than the average perennial and are somewhat evergreen – they’re used to holding their foliage through winter. Because of this a hard trim in fall is usually not good for them. They need the woody structure to protect the crown of the plant through winter. This plant prefers sandy/loamy soil and not clay. |
